Fashionable Fun

I've recently discovered this really cool site - Polyvore. There is a tool for creating clothing/fashion sets (and more). It's like online/virtual Barbie doll fun (without the weirdly shaped plastic girl) with tons of clothes, shoes, and accessories to choose from ;) Below is one of my first fashion "paintings" ... tons of fun!!

Heidelberg Castle

This photo was taken at Heidelberg Castle (Heidelberg, Germany) on my first trip to europe.  I really love the composition of this photo (yes, patting myself on the back) ... for me it seems to evoke some "old world" feel.  I tweaked the photo with Photoshop (doing a series of little tutorials) using desaturation.

I've always enjoyed MC Escher's work (probably the mathy-side to thank for that).

I seem to like "muted" colors a lot ... or perhaps its more those that seem more "natural" ... not sure ... have to think about that :)
